The space-saving robots in the G series are designed with Epson's unique Smart Motion Control technology and provide among the industry's best speeds and accuracy, with low residual vibration.
Epson enhanced the specifications and functions important for users to design and develop the system and enabled system optimized for multi-product production and/or supporting environment with water and oily mist.

Cleanroom robots have a shorter joint #3 stroke (G1 = -20 mm, others = - 30 mm)
Several arm configurations are available for G3 series robots
The robots in the G1 series are the latest and smallest models in Epson's high speed, high-precision "G-series" of SCARA robots, and they provide optimal functionality for the precision assembly and insertion of small parts. Ideally suited for applications in the electronics, semiconductor, printed circuit board, and precision industries, the G1 models have been designed for a variety of uses, including uses as micro-handlers, angle converters, and feeding unit dispensers. The extra-small footprint means they can be easily added to existing cells. They are the perfect choice as a cost-efficient, high-performance feeder for larger robots. A heavier hand attachment is available for the 3-axis model, making it particularly suited for operations such as screw driving and dispensing.

Fig. 2
G3 series robots, simultaneously fast and accurate, excel at small parts transfers and assembly.
The body is ultra compact yet has a large motion range.
The most outstanding feature of the G3 series is its use of a "Curving Arm".
The curving arm expands the motion range to the back of one side and to the inner area of the body.
A left-curved arm and a right-curved arm are available.
The straight arm has the same motion range on both the right and left side.
