S1S60000 is an intelligent network controller for the built-in equipment with built-in protocol processing function.
The TCP/IP communication can be done only by passing an easy command and data from host CPU to process necessary protocol processing for TCP/IP connection internally.
The equipment for the network such as 10Base-T can be easily achieved by combining the interface with a physical layer with the PHY chip for MII.
CPU machine used of 8/16 bit class is the best for doing the network connection correspondence without the necessity of the protocol stack that high performance OS and the software vender offer.
Moreover, various hosts CPU can connect it directly without additional logic.
It is possible to use it easily even with the equipment without, a general-purpose bus such as PCI and ISA, and an external bus.
