Software simulator

With the simulator, programs created by the S1C63/88 Family's integrated tools (C compiler, assembler, etc.) can be debugged on personal computers, without the need to use dedicated hardware tools like ICEs. In addition to a general debugging function, this simulator has a function for simulating key matrix and push buttons using I/O port, serial I/O and GPIO, A/D converter, and LCD display. This enables the creation of bitmap and LCD panel data using utilities included in the package.

  • Simulation is available for various items including LCD display on PCs, without the need to use external debugging hardware.
  • Ability to view various data at the same time in multiple windows.
  • Ability to execute frequently used commands, using the mouse to operate the tool bar or menu.
  • Function of displaying C source, program code and symbol using disassembler.

S5U1C17001H(In-Circuit Debugger for S1C17 Family) is a hardware tool (emulator) for efficient software development of S1C17 Family. This provides the software development environment by setting only 3 signal lines (+1 GND) on the S1C17 chip in the target system.
