The Mini-lab is a high speed developing device that produces high quality silver halide and digital prints on photographic paper. Miniaturization of the optical system is made possible by using HTPS for the exposure. With the greater gradation expression allowed by the analog format of HTPS, the Mini-lab prints photos with a smooth image and excellent color reproduction. Using Epson's HTPS has allowed the creation of a Mini-lab system that prints high definition, high resolution photographs with greater depth.
